A Practical Look at Facilitation
document/1005.5kb
We create a motivational non-threatening environment where consensus can be reached, information gathered and views shared between individuals who have diverse beliefs, values, ideas, skills and cultures.
A typical facilitation process covers three things:
First: Planning of the event
Requires interviewing the client lead and the various workshop participants to establish the outcome of the workshop, understand the various participants and design an appropriate process to reach the outcome
Establishing the ground rules and time frame and location for the workshop
Engaging the correct operational support for the workshop, e.g a documenter, flip charts, location, etcetera.
Second: The event itself
Implementation and managing of the process to reach the outcome
Third: The summary
This is the summary of the outcomes captured during the workshop and presentation to the client lead.
Desert Lemon liberates talent in groups and individuals.
